Theme search is not enough
It looks for words in the text. Someone choosing between forty models thinks in specifications, and specifications live in fields, not in sentences.
Filters on the left, models on the right, counts that update on every choice. You declare the filters from the admin screens, with no WooCommerce and without touching your theme.
A real screen from the plugin, with a twelve model catalogue.
Works with the stack you already run
They know how much it has to hold, where it goes and what it has to do. A list of products in alphabetical order answers none of those three questions.
It looks for words in the text. Someone choosing between forty models thinks in specifications, and specifications live in fields, not in sentences.
It brings a cart, shipping, taxes and a checkout to publish a catalogue that does not sell online. More to maintain, for a feature you never use.
The questions are always the same: which model holds ten trays, which one fits under the counter, which one comes as a freezer. The catalogue can answer on its own.
The rules are the ones people expect: more entries inside one filter widen the results, different filters narrow them.
Next to every entry is the number of models left. Combinations that lead nowhere are visible before anyone tries them.
Up to three models next to each other, on the same specification rows. This is the moment the buyer decides.
Every combination of filters has its own URL. Sales send the filtered link instead of explaining over the phone where to look.
[product_viewer] on any page, in Gutenberg or in the builder you use.The buyer marks the models still in the running and puts them side by side. The specifications line up, so the difference shows without being hunted for.
Comparison is part of the full version.
No files to edit, no JSON to write. Everything happens in the WordPress admin.
Upload the zip from Plugins, Add new. Product Viewer appears in the menu.
Range, function, capacity, installation: each filter is a group with its own entries. You set the numeric ranges yourself.
One at a time from the admin, or the whole price list from a CSV, with a dry run before anything is written.
Put the shortcode wherever you want and the catalogue is live.

No, and it does not even have to be installed. Product Viewer publishes a catalogue people consult, not a shop: no cart, no checkout, no tax settings. If you ever decide to sell online, WooCommerce can sit alongside it without interfering.
The full version sets no limit. The filters work on a purpose-built index table rather than on a content search, so a catalogue of a few thousand models stays fast. The free version shows 25.
Yes, saved as CSV. One column for the code, one for the name and one for each filter you declared. The import has a dry run that reads everything and tells you what it would do without writing a thing: that is the right way to make the first pass.
The catalogue is a shortcode, so it goes in Gutenberg, in Elementor, in the classic editor or in any builder that accepts shortcodes. Inside the container there is a high-specificity reset, so themes that force styles on buttons, fields and lists cannot break the layout.
It is written in English and follows the language set in WordPress: on an Italian site the admin screens, the filters and the catalogue all show in Italian, because the translation ships with the package. For another language, translate the template file with Poedit or Loco Translate, without touching the code.
Inside WordPress, as dedicated content. They stay in your backups, in your exports and in the media library like everything else on the site. If you uninstall the plugin one day, the data is still there.
The free version shows 25 products and the first 3 filters, with no comparison, no grouping and no import, and it lets you set the accent colour and the corner radius. The full version removes the limits and opens all the styling.
The limits apply only to what visitors see: if you configure eight filters or load three hundred products, it all stays saved and comes back on its own when you activate the licence. You can also unlock everything for 7 days from inside the plugin, with no card.
No. You pay once and it lasts forever on one site, updates included. If you move the catalogue to another domain, release the old site from the admin and activate the key on the new one.
WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later, which is the standard on any recent hosting. No external service, no API key: the catalogue lives inside your own site.
