Three plugins that each do one job, properly

Two of them turn a cloud folder into a private client area on your own site. The third publishes a technical catalogue people can actually filter. All three install from a zip, run on any theme and start free.

Read-only on Dropbox

Dropbox PortalPrivate client area

Turn Dropbox folders into a reserved area on your WordPress site.

You keep publishing to Dropbox as you always have. Each rule maps a WordPress role to a folder, so every client logs in and finds only what belongs to them. No Dropbox share link is ever created: files are streamed through WordPress and checked on every request, so nothing can leak by being forwarded.

Google Drive PortalPrivate client area

The same reserved area, on a Drive account that stays connected.

It connects through a service account, so the link between your site and Drive does not expire and there is no yearly verification to pay for. You share one folder with the account and decide which WordPress role sees what. Google documents are converted on the way out, so a client downloads a normal file.

Product ViewerFilterable catalogue

Publish a technical catalogue people can filter the way they think.

Nobody looking for a model knows its name: they know what it has to hold and where it goes. Filters on the left, models on the right, counts that update on every choice, and three models side by side when it is time to decide. No WooCommerce, and the filters are declared from the admin screens instead of in code.

Which one

Pick by the job, not by the feature list

Two of the three do the same job on a different cloud. The right one is decided by where your files already live.

Your files live in Dropbox

Dropbox Portal. The connection is made once with OAuth on read-only scopes, and your clients see their folders inside your site.

Your files live in Google Drive

Google Drive Portal. A service account keeps the link alive with no expiry and no yearly verification to renew.

You have a catalogue, not files

Product Viewer. Models, specifications and ranges become filters, so a visitor narrows down to the right product on their own.

What you get

The same rules across all three

Whichever plugin you pick, these are the parts that do not change.

A free version that works Not a demo: it runs on your real site, for as long as you want, with no card involved.
7 days of everything Unlock the full version from inside the plugin for a week. Nothing you configure is ever lost when it ends.
Your data stays yours No middle service, no account with us. Everything runs between your site and your own cloud.
One shortcode, any theme A high-specificity reset keeps your theme from breaking the layout, in Gutenberg or in your builder.
FAQ

Before you pick one

Yes. They are separate plugins that share nothing but the design: a site can serve a reserved area from Dropbox, a second one from Drive and a filterable catalogue, all at once. Each has its own licence.

They do the same job and cost the same. Pick the one where your files already are: moving a shared archive from one cloud to the other to suit a plugin is never worth it. The Drive one connects through a service account, so its connection has no expiry to renew; the Dropbox one uses OAuth on read-only scopes.

The two portals are yearly licences per site, starting at 29,90 euro. Product Viewer is a one-off payment of 29,90 euro that does not expire. In every case a licence can be released from the admin and moved to another domain.

They are written in English and follow the language set in WordPress. Italian ships with them, and any other language can be added by translating the template file with Poedit or Loco Translate, without touching the code.

left&right, a small software house that builds WordPress plugins for companies that already run their business on WordPress. Support goes to a person, not a ticket queue.
